The home refueler would make the switch quicker, but think of it this way. If you have another machine around the house it is expensive. You have to buy, run and maintain this equipment. This is the same reason people are not running out and buying the home biofuel plants for their diesel engines. Also you have to realize that many people will not buy a home device if the savings/perceived benefit does not come with in 3 years. (this is why many home owners do not buy solar panels to power their home, on average I think it takes at least 7 years to get a return on solar panels). I'm actually reading the O'Reilly book "Ruby on Rails: Up and Running" right now in another window.
