The Apple brick?
So there has been a bit of a buzz going around on the internet over Apple. It appears they maybe rolling out a new computer/electronic device just in time for the holiday shopping season. Some have said it is a new Macbook Pro, others say it is a new home media device. There have been claims to having pictures of the new case.
My guess, and this is strech, is that apple is making a new sub notebook. It would be a Mac netbook. Apple already has a SSD based laptop in the MacBook Air. But the Air still isn’t as compact as the EeePC. I know of several travelers that would gladly take a netbook with them where ever they go, if it had OSX on it. Imagine a netbook with OSX on it, you could ichat, listen to itunes, work an all sorts of stuff. Apple already has an OS that fits and works well on SSD devices, yes, you guessed it the OS on the iPod touch and iPhone. Maybe Apple will enable multi-touch for this little netbook.
Of course I could be completely wrong, many times I am.
